Job Title: Geologist
Location: Kama-Otto, Nasarawa

About the Role
We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Geologist to support our ongoing exploration and mining activities in Nasarawa. You will play a key role in analyzing mineral deposits, conducting fieldwork, and guiding project decisions with accurate geological data.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze different ore bodies within mining areas
- Assess the strength and spread of mineralization in key zones
- Collect and evaluate samples to determine ore quality
- Prepare detailed geological sketches and reports based on field observations
- Record and analyze data from natural outcrops, wells, pits, and trenches
- Maintain organized and accurate geological records
- Conduct field surveys and use advanced tools for data collection
- Interpret findings to support mining strategies and operational decisions
- Coordinate field activities and ensure team efficiency
- Promote and maintain strict safety standards at all times
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related discipline
- 2 to 5 years of practical experience in geological fieldwork within the mining sector
- Proficient in identifying ore bodies and analyzing mineral content
- Skilled in using geological tools, instruments, and software
- Strong technical writing and report-drawing capabilities
- Excellent data interpretation and problem-solving skills
- Proven leadership and field coordination abilities
- Committed to working safely in remote and physically demanding environments
Salary Range
₦150,000 – ₦180,000 monthly
Plus performance-based bonuses
