Job Title: Geologist

Location: Kama-Otto, Nasarawa
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Geologist to support our ongoing exploration and mining activities in Nasarawa. You will play a key role in analyzing mineral deposits, conducting fieldwork, and guiding project decisions with accurate geological data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze different ore bodies within mining areas
  • Assess the strength and spread of mineralization in key zones
  • Collect and evaluate samples to determine ore quality
  • Prepare detailed geological sketches and reports based on field observations
  • Record and analyze data from natural outcrops, wells, pits, and trenches
  • Maintain organized and accurate geological records
  • Conduct field surveys and use advanced tools for data collection
  • Interpret findings to support mining strategies and operational decisions
  • Coordinate field activities and ensure team efficiency
  • Promote and maintain strict safety standards at all times
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 2 to 5 years of practical experience in geological fieldwork within the mining sector
  • Proficient in identifying ore bodies and analyzing mineral content
  • Skilled in using geological tools, instruments, and software
  • Strong technical writing and report-drawing capabilities
  • Excellent data interpretation and problem-solving skills
  • Proven leadership and field coordination abilities
  • Committed to working safely in remote and physically demanding environments
Salary Range

₦150,000 – ₦180,000 monthly
Plus performance-based bonuses
