Job Title: Pastry Chef

Job Summary

• As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for crafting delectable pastries, desserts, and baked goods that enhance our menu and delight our guests.
• You will oversee pastry production, maintain high-quality standards, and ensure innovative presentation while adhering to food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to menu specifications.
• Develop new and innovative pastry recipes that align with our brand and seasonal offerings.
• Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all pastry items.
• Manage pastry inventory, order ingredients, and minimize waste.
• Supervise and train pastry kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and excellence.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to develop and enhance dessert pairings.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications in a related field.
• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role within a high-end restaurant, bakery, or hotel.
• Culinary degree or certification in pastry arts is an advantage.
• Expertise in baking techniques, pastry arts, and chocolate/confectionery work.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Creativity and attention to detail in dessert presentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Leadership and team management skills.
