Location: 100% Remote – Nigeria

About the Role
As our QA Lead, you’ll oversee quality assurance for Tether Data. You will ensure that software and product releases meet high-quality standards through robust test strategies, efficient frameworks, and automation. You will guide QA Engineers, collaborate closely with DevOps and Product teams, and help shape our quality-first culture.
Responsibilities
Develop and refine QA strategies to support product and engineering goals
Oversee planning and execution of manual and automated tests, prioritizing coverage by business impact and risk
Mentor QA Engineers to strengthen skills in manual and automation testing
Define and promote QA processes and best practices for consistent documentation and reporting
Collaborate with teams across product, development, and DevOps to embed quality throughout the lifecycle
Guide automation framework design and ensure effective CI/CD integration
Manage test environments and data to maintain consistency
Monitor key quality metrics and drive improvements
Lead release readiness assessments and communicate quality status to stakeholders
Foster ongoing process improvement and a proactive approach to defect prevention
Requirements
Strong experience in QA strategy, test planning, and execution (manual and automated)
Ability to mentor and lead QA engineers
Skilled in QA processes, defect management, and test documentation
Proven track record in designing and maintaining test automation frameworks
Experienced with CI/CD pipelines and managing test environments
Effective communicator and collaborator
Qualifications
Excellent English communication skills
Experience in remote global teams
Background in fintech or technology-driven industries preferred
