Position: AC Technician

About the Role
We are hiring a skilled AC Technician to support our maintenance team within a steel manufacturing facility. Your work will be essential to ensuring a comfortable, safe, and efficient environment across our offices and production areas.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain air conditioning systems and related HVAC components.
- Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance in all designated facility zones.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in AC systems, including electrical and mechanical issues.
- Monitor and adjust temperature, humidity, and airflow for optimal performance.
- Ensure reliable operation of chillers, compressors, condensers, and refrigerant systems.
- Keep accurate maintenance logs and adhere to environmental safety standards.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and emergency service calls.
- Work closely with other maintenance teams to support integrated facility management.
- Follow all safety procedures and internal guidelines.
Requirements
- Technical diploma or certification in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, or HVAC systems.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and HVAC troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to refrigerants and HVAC operations.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in high-heat areas or elevated spaces.
