Job Title: Account Officer
Location: Surulere, Lagos

Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Account Officer to join our finance team in Surulere, Lagos. The ideal candidate will handle financial records, reporting, and reconciliation while supporting the company’s financial operations and compliance efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and update financial files regularly
- Prepare and analyze budgets, reports, and expense summaries
- Reconcile bank statements with general ledger entries
- Review and verify expense submissions from employees
- Ensure compliance with company and tax regulations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Process payments accurately and on time
- Work with the finance team on forecasts and financial analysis
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Account Officer or in a similar accounting role
- Good knowledge of MS Office and accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Strong understanding of financial and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional accounting certification is an added advantage
- Candidates living in or near Surulere are preferred
Salary
₦130,000 – ₦150,000 per month
