Role Overview
The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide meaningful financial insights that support business decisions across both the legal and fashion divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all accounting data is properly documented
- Record all financial transactions, including income and expenses
- Reconcile bank statements with company records regularly
- Assist in preparing budgets and track performance against approved financial plans
- Prepare financial forecasts and cash flow projections
- Provide insights on cost control and operational efficiency
- Manage payroll processing, including salaries and statutory deductions
- Ensure timely payment of salaries and other financial obligations
- Identify and analyze financial risks while recommending improvement strategies
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in accounting or finance roles
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll systems, and financial compliance standards
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in using accounting software and financial management tools
Salary
₦150,000 – ₦200,000 per month
