Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, filing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role also involves analyzing financial data and providing insights to support better business decisions and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records of transactions including expenses, revenues, assets, and liabilities

• Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports

• Manage tax return preparation and ensure timely filing in compliance with all relevant regulations

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal policies, and financial reporting requirements

• Conduct regular internal audits to verify financial accuracy and integrity

• Analyze financial data to identify performance trends and cost optimization opportunities

• Support budgeting and financial forecasting processes

• Provide management with regular financial reports and professional advice to guide decision-making

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA is an advantage

• Proven experience as an Accountant, Auditor, or in a similar finance role

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar tools

• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for data analysis and financial reporting

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and interpersonal abilities to convey financial information clearly
