We are currently looking to hire an Accountant I to join our team in Ibadan. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while working in a collaborative environment.

Job Type: Contract
Contract Duration: 2-year renewable
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial reports for the donor.
- Collect necessary documents to support financial reports.
- Upload project budgets into Oracle.
- Prepare invoices or fund requests to the donor.
- Ensure actual expenditures align with the approved budget.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual project forecast.
- Coordinate the yearly project audit and respond to audit queries.
- Review and justify financial reports from project partners.
- Address finance-related questions from the donor.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- A BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field with a minimum of four (4) years of experience in a structured environment.
- Professional certifications such as ICAN/ACA are desirable.
Desired Skills and Competencies
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency with computer applications, particularly Oracle.
- Ability to work well in a team and demonstrate honesty and integrity.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites in Kano.
