Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial records, tax reporting, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This role supports informed business decisions by tracking, analyzing, and maintaining accurate financial data.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all accounting transactions and financial operations
- Conduct monthly, tri-annual, and annual financial closings
- Prepare budget forecasts and monitor financial health
- Compute and file tax returns in line with regulations
- Maintain accurate records for balance sheets and profit & loss statements
- Audit financial documents and ensure compliance
- Provide timely reports on financial status and company liquidity
- Confirm all payments and track payment records
- Ensure all financial practices align with internal and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in an accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and IFRS principles
- Proficiency in accounting software and general ledger functions
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (additional certifications are an advantage)
Salary
₦130,000 monthly
