Redswitch Collections is hiring on behalf of a respected professional services firm based in Abuja. We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with hands-on experience in payroll, tax compliance, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.

Job Summary
This position is ideal for an experienced accountant who can manage payroll operations, ensure timely statutory remittances, maintain accurate accounting records, and support internal financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll and prepare PAYE and pension schedules
• File and remit ITF, NSITF, PAYE, and Pension contributions accurately and on time
• Maintain accounting records and ledgers using Excel or accounting software
• Conduct monthly bank and petty cash reconciliations
• Assist with financial reports and data analysis
• Work with tax authorities (FIRS and FCT-IRS) to handle compliance issues and inquiries
• Maintain data accuracy and confidentiality in all accounting processes

Requirements

• HND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• ATS certification or ongoing ACA/ACCA qualification is an added advantage
• Experience using accounting tools like QuickBooks, Sage, or Wave
• Good understanding of Nigerian tax regulations and payroll practices
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity
