About the Role
We are hiring a dedicated Auxiliary Nurse to support daily operations at a busy retail pharmacy. This position is ideal for someone with strong communication skills and a passion for providing excellent patient care.
What You’ll Do
- Attend to walk-in clients by offering first aid and addressing basic health concerns
- Assist customers with questions about over-the-counter medications and wellness products
- Measure and document vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and blood sugar
- Provide health tips and direct customers to the pharmacist when needed
- Maintain accurate records of all services offered in the pharmacy
- Assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications and managing the dispensary
- Keep all equipment and areas clean and sterile
- Help manage inventory and ensure all medical supplies are properly stocked
- Support any health outreach or screening activities hosted by the pharmacy
What We’re Looking For
- Certified Auxiliary Nurse or similar healthcare qualification
- Experience in a pharmacy or clinical setting is a strong advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Kind, patient-focused attitude and professional demeanor
- Basic computer knowledge for handling records and pharmacy operations
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
