Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Location: Amadi Base, Port Harcourt, Rivers State

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to drive efficient personnel management processes. The ideal candidate will ensure that our workforce is competent, engaged, and aligned with our business goals at an optimized cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage core HR functions to support business objectives.
- Conduct job analysis, evaluations, and develop job descriptions.
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies in compliance with labor laws.
- Oversee manpower planning and resource management.
- Manage industrial relations, especially in a unionized environment.
- Administer employee contracts and resolve workplace conflicts.
- Utilize HR Information Systems (HRIS) to manage employee records.
- Manage employee onboarding, orientation, and job installation processes.
- Lead performance management and talent development initiatives.
- Conduct training needs analysis and oversee training programs.
- Handle employee relations and welfare management.
- Drive organizational behavior and change management strategies.
- Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll processes.
- Develop and oversee HR budgets, ensuring cost-effective implementation.
- Stay updated on trends in employee discipline and compliance management.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Science discipline from a recognized university.
- A postgraduate HR certification or Master’s degree in HR is an added advantage.
- Membership in a professional HR body such as CIPM, SHRM, or CIPD is preferred.
- Additional HR training certifications are desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of HR generalist experience, covering all aspects of human resources.
- At least 4 years in a managerial HR role.
- Experience in a multinational, preferably in the oil & gas sector, is an advantage.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze HR data for strategic decision-making.
- Team collaboration and leadership capabilities.
- Familiarity with labor laws and industry best practices.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
