Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Branch Manager to lead operations, drive profitability, and grow customer relationships at our Lagos branch. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction, ensure compliance with bank policies, and deliver on key performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive branch performance in line with set targets.

• Achieve budgets for deposit liability, risk assets, and profit after tax (PAT/PBT).

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to grow the branch’s client base.

• Identify and convert high-value business opportunities.

• Support and mentor team members through joint calls and relationship management.

• Deepen relationships with existing and prospective customers.

• Monitor dormant accounts and ensure account activity is optimized.

• Appraise and monitor risk assets.

• Manage operating costs within the approved budget.

• Build and sustain a high-performing team culture.

Qualifications and Skills

• First degree in any discipline (postgraduate degree is an added advantage).

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIBN, CFA, etc., are an advantage.

Knowledge Requirements:

• Mortgage banking operations, services, and products.

• Sales and marketing strategies in financial services.

• Financial service channels and instruments.
