Position: Business Strategist
Location: Sagamu, Ogun
Key Responsibilities
Drive Funding and Grant Strategies
Identify and pursue local and global funding opportunities including climate funds, donor grants, and carbon credit programs. Lead proposal development that aligns with our sustainability mission.
Develop High-Impact Business Cases
Create compelling business cases and investor presentations to attract partners — from impact investors to supply chain collaborators and policy influencers.
Monitor Sustainability Trends
Stay updated with ESG trends, government regulations, and innovations in environmental sustainability to guide business strategy and ensure compliance.
Build Strategic Partnerships
Initiate and nurture strategic collaborations that support business expansion, funding access, and brand visibility.
Design Growth Strategies
Plan and execute long-term business strategies that drive sustainable growth within Nigeria and across Africa.
Explore Market Opportunities
Conduct in-depth research to uncover new market opportunities in recycling, renewable energy, and circular economy sectors.
Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to translate strategy into actionable results.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in business strategy, sustainability, or social enterprise.
- Knowledge of recycling, clean tech, or circular economy models is an added advantage.
- Strong background in ESG, climate finance, and grant acquisition.
- Excellent research and proposal writing skills.
- Proven track record of executing strategies that deliver business growth or secure key partnerships.
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach.
- Bonus: Experience working with green enterprises like Kaltani or similar Africa-led impact organizations.
