Channels Audit Lead at Moniepoint

We’re looking for a Channels Audit Lead to work closely with the Chief Audit Officer and Directors, aligning internal audit strategy with Moniepoint’s goals, forecasting business risks, and championing business integrity. Key Responsibilities

• Support audit projects and investigations with data-driven insights, using advanced data analysis to reveal patterns and improve audit findings.

• Automate repetitive audit processes utilizing data analysis and scripting.

• Contribute to audit plans, procedures, and internal audits to evaluate and strengthen internal controls.

• Provide data-backed insights that drive the enterprise risk assessment process.

• Monitor compliance, revenue assurance, financial reporting, and optimize business performance through data-driven analysis.

• Prepare detailed audit reports and ensure thorough documentation of audit evidence.

• Coach and mentor Audit Associates, fostering best practices and supervising performance.

• Represent Internal Audit in meetings with business divisions and external stakeholders.

• Deliver on additional assignments from the Chief Audit Officer and Directors.

Key Requirements

• Strong experience with data analysis tools, especially SQL.

• Hands-on experience in revenue assurance.

• Familiarity with risk management, audit processes, and regulatory compliance.

• Proven leadership in guiding teams or managing direct reports.

• Ability to turn data into actionable business insights for senior management.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Self-motivated with the ability to deliver results independently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution.

• 7+ years of progressive experience in data analysis and audit leadership, preferably in financial services or consulting.

• Proficiency in SQL scripting and visualization tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, IDEA, or Alteryx).

• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and talent development.
