Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead our financial operations and safeguard the company’s long-term financial health. This role involves managing financial planning, risk assessment, investments, and overall fiscal governance. The ideal candidate will be both analytical and visionary, with strong leadership capabilities to guide all finance-related departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s financial planning and budgeting activities

• Assess and manage financial risks across liabilities and investments

• Develop investment strategies with a focus on liquidity and growth

• Oversee capital structure and fundraising initiatives

• Monitor and maintain healthy cash flow for operational needs

• Supervise finance personnel, including controllers and treasurers

• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and financial partners

• Generate accurate financial reports and forecasts

• Implement and manage financial IT systems

• Ensure adherence to legal and company-wide financial policies

• Coordinate the work of financial controllers and analysts

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as CFO, Finance Officer, or in a similar leadership role

• Strong understanding of corporate finance laws and risk management practices

• Proficiency in data analysis, financial forecasting, and reporting

• Advanced use of MS Office and financial software such as SAP

• Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving skills

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities

• Highly analytical and detail-oriented

• Professional certification such as CPA is a strong advantage

• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; MSc/MBA preferred

Salary

₦750,000 – ₦1,000,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
