Salary Range: ₦750,000 – ₦1,000,000 per month
Role Overview
The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the group. This includes financial planning, reporting, cash flow management, and strategic decision-making. The role also involves guiding each business unit’s finance team and ensuring efficient financial operations across the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support the group’s goals and profitability.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across all business units.
- Analyze financial performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Manage investments, cash flow, and financial risk.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements and regulatory reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial laws, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with auditors, tax consultants, and other external partners.
- Recommend financial technology tools that enhance operational efficiency.
- Advise the board and executive management on strategic financial decisions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team across all subsidiaries.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CPA, or CFA is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in a multi-industry environment.
- Excellent financial management, budgeting, and analytical skills.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance frameworks in Nigeria.
- Proven ability to provide strategic direction and manage complex financial operations.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with capital raising or financial restructuring is an advantage.
Salary
₦750,000 – ₦1,000,000 per month (depending on experience and qualifications).
