Role Overview

The Civil / Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and supervising engineering projects from start to finish. The role requires a hands-on professional who can manage design processes, oversee site operations, and ensure that all works meet safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and review engineering drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
• Supervise construction and installation activities to ensure compliance with approved designs and safety guidelines.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site inspections, and technical assessments.
• Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality delivery within set timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and submit technical reports, progress updates, and documentation as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in design, construction, or project management.
• Registration with COREN or any other recognized professional body is an advantage.
• Proficient in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or STAAD Pro.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
