Role Overview
We are hiring a Compliance Analyst to manage communication and coordination between our client and external regulatory and law enforcement agencies. This role plays a key part in supporting legal investigations, ensuring compliance with Nigerian regulations, and maintaining the integrity of internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for all interactions with regulatory and enforcement agencies
- Manage legal requests, including subpoenas and official correspondence
- Process and monitor account-related actions such as freezes or unfreezes based on directives
- Work closely with internal teams, including Legal, Compliance, Fraud, and AML, for efficient case resolution
- Keep accurate documentation and records to support audits and compliance reviews
- Support internal investigations and assist with drafting timely compliance reports
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Criminology, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar compliance or regulatory role, preferably in fintech or a financial institution
- Solid understanding of Nigeria’s financial regulations, including AML/CFT standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent documentation and organizational abilities
- Professional certifications such as CAMS or CFE are an added advantage
