Role Overview

The Compliance and Regulatory Officer will ensure that the company’s products, operations, and marketing activities fully comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. The ideal candidate will monitor regulatory changes, manage product registrations, oversee compliance documentation, and maintain positive relationships with local and international regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret relevant regulatory requirements including NAFDAC, FDA, and EU standards

• Manage product registration, labeling, packaging, and advertising compliance

• Conduct internal audits and assess risks to ensure adherence to regulatory policies

• Liaise with regulatory bodies and coordinate inspections or certifications

• Develop, implement, and update company-wide compliance policies and training programs

• Investigate compliance issues, report findings, and recommend corrective actions

• Maintain accurate compliance records and ensure timely submission of required documentation

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field

• Minimum of 3 years experience in regulatory affairs or compliance within the FMCG industry

• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, documentation, and approval processes

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple compliance projects
