Role Overview

Diamed Centre is looking for an experienced Consultant Family Physician to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will deliver expert medical care to individuals and families, manage a wide range of health conditions, and promote preventive healthcare practices. This role requires a dedicated professional who can make sound clinical decisions and work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide continuous and comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages
• Conduct patient assessments, investigations, diagnosis, and treatment
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Prescribe appropriate medications and provide health counseling to patients
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary and ensure proper follow-up care
• Promote safety, quality, and ethical standards in clinical practice
• Collaborate with the management team to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes

Qualifications and Skills

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
• Fellowship in Family Medicine (FWACP, MWACP, or equivalent)
• Full registration and valid practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
• Minimum of 5 years post-specialization experience in Family Medicine or General Practice
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to professional growth and teamwork
