Position: Credit and Marketing Officer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Reports To: Head of Credit and Marketing, Business Development, and COO

Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Credit and Marketing Officer to drive business growth through client acquisition, credit analysis, and marketing execution. This role plays a key part in managing risk assets, expanding the loan portfolio, and delivering excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement and Business Development

• Acquire new clients and manage existing relationships to grow deposits and loans
• Conduct client reviews to build long-term loyalty
• Develop customized financial solutions based on client needs
• Prepare marketing presentations, proposals, and onboarding documentation
• Monitor market trends and adjust strategies as needed

Credit Assessment and Processing

• Conduct initial credit screenings and risk evaluations
• Ensure credit applications meet internal guidelines and target market definitions
• Coordinate with internal teams to process applications efficiently
• Maintain accurate documentation for all credit-related transactions

Portfolio Management and Risk Control

• Identify early warning signs of repayment issues and take proactive steps
• Implement recovery plans for non-performing loans
• Maintain a balanced portfolio in line with the company’s risk framework
• Work with the risk team to ensure full policy compliance

Reporting and Documentation

• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports including activity logs and sales pipelines
• Keep accurate records of client interactions and credit processes for audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit sales, analysis, or business development
• Solid understanding of financial services, credit procedures, and lending
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to explain financial products in a clear, client-friendly way
• Skilled in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
• Analytical mindset with strong numerical ability
• Proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

Salary
₦300,000 monthly
