Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive Credit Officer to assess loan applications, evaluate clients’ financial standing, and manage loan documentation. The ideal candidate should understand credit processes, be detail-oriented, and have strong communication skills to maintain positive client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process loan requests from clients
• Evaluate financial information and determine creditworthiness
• Assess risks and recommend loan approvals or rejections
• Maintain accurate loan documentation and client records
• Monitor repayment schedules and follow up on outstanding loans
• Provide financial guidance and ensure compliance with company policies
• Handle daily and weekly loan repayment collections

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience as a Credit or Loan Officer is an advantage
• Good understanding of lending procedures and credit analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in using basic financial tools or spreadsheets
• Minimum of NCE, OND, HND, or BSc in Banking, Finance, Economics, or related field

Salary and Benefits

• Starting Salary: ₦100,000 per month
• Benefits: Bi-annual profit sharing, HMO, annual performance appraisal, and flexible working hours (11 am – 6 pm).
• Growth: Salary review based on performance and career advancement opportunities.
