Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to collect, organize, and interpret data to support effective business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, technical expertise in data systems, and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations that enhance operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Update the SMD dashboard daily, weekly, and monthly.

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reject waste reports.

• Participate in monthly stock-taking exercises.

• Ensure full compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations.

• Document SMD shift reports and prepare bound report files.

• Collaborate with management to identify and prioritize business and information needs.

• Locate and define opportunities for process improvement through data insights.

• Analyze data using statistical techniques and generate periodic reports.

• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and data analytics tools.

• Acquire data from various sources and maintain organized data systems.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience working as a Data Analyst.

• Strong technical knowledge of data models, database design, and data mining techniques.

• Proficiency in reporting tools (e.g., Business Objects), databases (e.g., SQL), and programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).

• Skilled in statistical analysis and the use of tools such as Excel, SPSS, or SAS.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.

Salary

₦173,000 per month.
