Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Benin, Edo State

Role Overview
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving all hospital electrical equipment and systems to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise management on the procurement of electrical devices by conducting thorough research on pricing, quality, maintenance, and after-sales service plans.
- Complete acceptance forms for all new electrical equipment and follow up on any discrepancies until resolved.
- Provide engineering support to clinical and diagnostic departments as approved by management.
- Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, and systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance on all electrical equipment.
- Prepare and present spare parts requests to the Facility/Maintenance Manager promptly to ensure adequate supplies.
- Carry out regular safety checks on electrical systems and investigate safety-related incidents.
- Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design specifications, operational requirements, and safety standards.
- Ensure adherence to Lily Hospitals’ policies, ISO standards, COHSASA, Kaizen practices, regulatory requirements, and Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019.
- Perform any other duties assigned by senior leadership.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering, Bio-Medical Engineering, Physics, Computing, Mathematics, Medical Science, or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC work experience in a similar role.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience in quality control analysis, conducting tests, and evaluating performance.
- Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
- Excellent negotiation, statistical analysis, communication, and people management skills.
- Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Competency in system design analysis, technology design, and programming.
