Role Overview

The Electrician is responsible for maintaining and repairing all electrical systems and equipment within the hotel. This includes planned maintenance, installations, modifications, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all electrical systems, including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance
• Install electrical systems, wiring, devices, and temporary power setups when needed
• Follow all local codes, regulations, and internal safety policies and procedures
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
• Operate and maintain in-house lighting control systems
• Support the setup, breakdown, and distribution of temporary power for events on the property
• Perform safety checks on all electrical devices and systems
• Manage stock of parts and maintain cleanliness in work areas
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• Recognised Electrician certification such as Trade Test
• Minimum of 3 years’ verifiable industry experience
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret safety procedures, operating manuals, maintenance instructions, and technical documents
• Good communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests, vendors, and colleagues
