Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and highly organized Exhibition & Market Experience Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale market exhibitions across major Nigerian cities. The successful candidate will ensure smooth vendor coordination, effective logistics, excellent consumer experience, and strong operational control for every market activation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end planning and execution of market exhibitions across multiple cities.
• Design and oversee market layout, vendor allocation, logistics, branding, and crowd management.
• Supervise logistics operations, including venue setup, transportation, equipment handling, and storage.
• Coordinate on-site teams such as security, cleaners, cash handlers, and POS operators.
• Maintain compliance with safety, health, and hygiene regulations.
• Prepare and manage event budgets, timelines, supplier contracts, and procurement processes.
• Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to drive public awareness and attendance.
• Track and analyze event performance metrics including sales, customer engagement, and vendor satisfaction.
• Prepare detailed post-event reports and recommendations for future improvement.
• Develop scalable systems and standard operating procedures for future market rollouts.
• Represent the brand and ensure every market reflects the company’s values and service standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in event management, FMCG activation, or large-scale retail operations.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume events with over 20,000 attendees.
• Strong project management, logistics coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Hands-on leadership skills with the ability to manage on-field teams under pressure.
• Strong organizational discipline and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel across states for exhibitions and activations.

Preferred Experience

• Background in FMCG or large-scale event operations.
• Experience in festival production, market activations, or food fairs.
• Exposure to financial inclusion programs, community outreach, or microfinance initiatives.
