Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and committed Field Recovery Officer to manage and recover outstanding loan repayments from clients. This role involves field visits, negotiations, reporting, and collaboration with internal teams to reduce non-performing loans and maintain a healthy loan portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Recover unpaid loans from clients unwilling to repay
• Visit and follow up with borrowers who have overdue loan balances
• Review daily loan defaulters and recommend appropriate actions
• Maintain accurate records of collections and loan statuses
• Suggest strategies to minimize loan defaults and protect company funds
• Work with legal or branch teams to escalate or prosecute chronic debtors when necessary
• Negotiate repayment plans with clients open to resolving their debt
• Support branches in managing and monitoring high-risk accounts
• Carry out any related tasks assigned by your supervisor

Requirements

• HND or BSc in any relevant field
• 1 to 3 years of loan recovery experience in a microfinance institution
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent analytical thinking and decision-making ability
• Organized and able to multitask effectively
• High attention to detail and a strong sense of integrity
• Comfortable working in the field with minimal supervision
• Proficient in maintaining accurate records and reporting
• Passionate about driving results and being part of a team

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly Salary: ₦120,000 – ₦130,000 (net pay)
