Role Overview

As the Finance Officer, you will handle accounting tasks, financial reporting, and internal controls. You will also ensure that all financial records are up to date, support audits, and contribute to maintaining a sound financial management system.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve any financial discrepancies
• Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial statements
• Supervise payroll processes and ensure timely and accurate staff payments
• Monitor cash flow and manage petty cash operations
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and other financial regulations
• Conduct internal audits and financial risk assessments
• Support the implementation and maintenance of accounting and payroll systems

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• ICAN or ACCA certification is an added advantage
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within SMEs or startups
• Strong understanding of Nigerian financial principles and tax laws
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical ability, and good organizational skills

Salary

₦2,400,000 per annum
