Role Overview

The Finance Officer will play a key role in managing financial operations, maintaining accurate records, supporting budgeting activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. This role is essential to financial planning, analysis, and decision-making that drives the company’s manufacturing efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor manufacturing costs and recommend process improvements or cost-saving opportunities

• Analyze performance variances against budget and provide corrective insights

• Oversee allocation of fixed and overhead costs within the production process

• Manage cash flow to ensure timely payments and operational sustainability

• Track accounts receivable and payable to maintain financial accuracy

• Ensure tax compliance and coordinate tax filings and audits

• Collaborate with external auditors to maintain accurate financial records

• Oversee inventory valuation and manufacturing asset reporting

• Review and enhance financial processes for greater efficiency

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Provide financial insights to support production and cost efficiency

• Assist in budgeting and annual financial planning

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

• Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is an added advantage

• 3–5 years of relevant finance experience, preferably within manufacturing

• Proficiency in financial software (SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems)

• Strong understanding of cost accounting and financial reporting

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Salary

• ₦200,000 – ₦250,000 monthly
