Role Overview

The Finance Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing ledgers, ensuring compliance, and supporting internal departments with financial insights. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a structured environment and has a strong understanding of financial operations within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage all general ledger accounts.

• Monitor accounts payable and receivable while providing regular reports and analysis.

• Record invoices and financial transactions promptly and accurately.

• Conduct monthly reconciliation of financial statements and ledgers.

• Support departmental budgeting processes and financial planning.

• Perform detailed financial analysis and interpret key ratios.

• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure the accuracy of system and non-system entries.

• Maintain the fixed asset register.

• Oversee tax remittances and collaborate with consultants to ensure full regulatory compliance.

• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all financial activities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a Fintech, Bank, or Financial Services environment.

• ACCA or ICAN certification is an added advantage.

• Familiarity with ERP systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and growth-driven.

Salary

₦200,000 – ₦300,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)
