We are currently hiring a Financial Control Manager to join our team.
Role Summary
The Financial Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the company. This includes managing treasury operations, tax matters, financial accounting, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
Treasury Management
- Oversee financial assets and debt, including cash and investment management
- Develop and maintain cash forecasting models (daily, monthly, quarterly)
- Present financial forecasts based on real-time data and spending trends
- Monitor financial investments and capital growth
- Advise on reserves and investment policy
- Recommend and structure financing options and debt arrangements
- Ensure consistent corporate liquidity and financial stability
Tax Administration
- Liaise with Tax Authorities, Auditors, and Regulatory bodies
- Ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions: VAT, PAYE, CIT, Pension
- Support tax-related filings and audits
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS standards
- Generate monthly management accounts and reports
- Manage asset and liability records, including asset register reporting
- Maintain profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Perform bank account reconciliation and monthly closing
- Liaise with banks on transaction and foreign exchange rates
- Administer payroll and prepare monthly sales analysis
- Lead budget development and consolidation for departments and the organization
- Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Qualifications
Experience Level: Mid to Senior
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field (Minimum of 2:1 or First Class)
- Professional certification required: ICAN, ACCA, or ACA
- 4–6+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or financial control
- Background in the Oil and Gas sector is an added advantage
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a managerial role
- Age Range: 27 – 40 years
- Gender: Female only
Required Skills
- Strong financial reporting, treasury, and IFRS knowledge
- Solid grasp of accounting principles and financial analysis
- Familiarity with statutory regulations and tax law
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure
- Business-minded with a proactive problem-solving approach
