Job Title: Fish Farmer

Locations: Lagos and Ogun

Job Description

The Fish Farmer will be responsible for the daily management of our aquaculture operations. This includes fish breeding, feeding programs, water quality management, and overall fish health. The role requires someone with hands-on aquaculture experience and strong leadership skills to ensure smooth farm operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of fish ponds, including breeding, feeding, and health checks
• Maintain pond structures, water systems, and farm equipment
• Develop and implement breeding and feeding programs to improve fish growth and productivity
• Monitor fish health and take preventive or corrective actions against diseases
• Keep accurate records of stock levels, growth, feeding, and farm activities
• Work closely with other farm staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in aquaculture and fish farming
• Strong understanding of fish breeding, feeding, and disease management
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
