Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Generator Operator to manage, operate, and maintain generator systems at our facility. The ideal candidate will ensure uninterrupted power supply, perform daily maintenance checks, and monitor operational parameters to maintain optimal performance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain gas generator systems to ensure continuous power supply.

• Perform daily inspections, maintenance, and parameter readings on the generator set.

• Monitor fuel levels and conduct daily haulage to verify fuel quantity.

• Gauge generator oil and coolant levels regularly to prevent downtime.

• Keep accurate records of power usage, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.

• Follow all safety procedures and promptly report any faults or irregularities.

Qualifications and Skills

• HND or OND in Electrical or related Engineering field.

• SSCE or Trade Test Certificate with relevant technical experience.

• Strong background in electrical or mechanical repairs.

• Solid understanding of generator systems (gas, diesel, or hybrid).

• Good technical troubleshooting and mechanical skills.

• Excellent record-keeping and reporting abilities.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure, especially during power outages.

• Knowledge of workplace safety and equipment handling procedures.
