The Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO Aviance) was established in 1979 and has grown to become a major player in Nigeria’s aviation industry. Headquartered at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, the company provides a wide range of aviation services, including cargo and aircraft handling, passenger facilitation, crew transportation, refuelling, and aviation training.

NAHCO Aviance currently supports more than 35 airlines across seven airports in Nigeria and manages around 70% of both domestic and international flight operations. After its privatization in 2005, the company was listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange in 2006. It has since gained international partnerships, with Air France and Lufthansa holding stakes in the organization.

Role Overview

The Graduate Trainee Program is designed to give fresh graduates hands-on experience in various aspects of the aviation handling business. Successful candidates will undergo structured training sessions, gain exposure to daily operations, and participate in key company projects to develop professional and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in on-the-job training and learn about different departments within the organization.
• Attend meetings, workshops, and team-building sessions.
• Keep detailed notes and records of daily activities and lessons learned.
• Prepare and present reports to supervisors and team members.
• Analyze existing work systems and suggest innovative ways to improve efficiency.
• Demonstrate professionalism, positivity, and commitment to company values.
• Conduct research and provide assistance to managers and supervisors when needed.
• Visit field locations or project sites as assigned.
• Represent the company positively in all interactions.
• Complete assessments or evaluations at the end of the training program.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field.
• 2 – 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
• Must reside in Lagos or be willing to relocate.

Salary Range

₦120,000 – ₦200,000 monthly
