We are looking for a talented Head Content Editor / Football Content Lead to join our team and make an impact!

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the creation and planning of football content for Nigerian sports fans, with a focus on EPL, NPFL, and sports betting.
  • Develop and manage the weekly content calendar across social platforms, including Twitter (X), Facebook, Telegram, and short video platforms.
  • Supervise a team of writers and ensure consistency in tone, language, and messaging across all content.
  • Collaborate with designers and video editors to produce high-quality graphics and videos.
  • Seamlessly integrate betting angles such as odds, predictions, and bonuses into football content.
  • Monitor post-performance and optimize content strategy based on analytics.
Required Skills and Experience
  • A strong passion for football, especially the English Premier League and African football culture.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in content planning or editorial roles.
  • Excellent copywriting skills in English, with a tone that resonates with Nigerian youth.
  • Familiarity with online sports betting and its integration into content is an advantage.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of trends on Telegram, Twitter/X, and Facebook.
  • Experience managing remote teams and working with freelance creatives.
  • Must be easily accessible online during working hours.
  • You must have the following minimum technical requirements: Intel i5 processor (or equivalent), 8GB RAM, and a stable internet connection of at least 10mbps.
  • A location with minimal or no power outages.
  • Preferred but not required: A personal football page or portfolio of relevant content.
Salary

USD 1,000 – USD 1,500 per month (N1,534,750.00 – N2,302,125.00)
