Role Overview

ASHEC Consulting is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to oversee the safety and protection of farm property, produce, machinery, and staff. The ideal candidate must be alert, proactive, and capable of establishing effective security systems to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access within the farm premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and manage the farm’s security team to ensure discipline and adherence to company standards.
• Conduct routine patrols and inspections of all areas to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Prevent theft, vandalism, encroachment, and other unauthorized activities, including illegal grazing or tree cutting.
• Keep detailed records of all security incidents and prepare timely reports for management review.
• Work closely with local authorities when handling disputes or investigations.
• Safeguard machinery, equipment, and storage areas against misuse or tampering.
• Coordinate emergency responses during incidents such as fire outbreaks or security breaches.
• Recommend practical improvements to the farm’s security structure and operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in security management, preferably within agricultural, estate, or industrial settings.
• Strong understanding of security protocols, surveillance methods, and emergency response procedures.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated integrity, discipline, and commitment to asset protection.
• Experience in the military, paramilitary, or law enforcement is an added advantage.
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Ogbomoso, Oyo State.
