Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented HR Data Analyst to join our team at Dangote Cement Transport. This role will focus on collecting, analyzing, and reporting HR data to inform decision-making processes within the HR department. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases and data systems.
- Utilize statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets.
- Cleanse data by removing corrupted records, fixing coding errors, and resolving related issues.
- Develop and maintain data systems and databases, ensuring data is organized in a readable format.
- Conduct analysis to evaluate the quality and significance of the data.
- Review reports and performance indicators to filter data and identify and correct issues.
- Prepare comprehensive analysis reports to present findings, trends, and predictions to stakeholders.
- Interpret data and provide statistical analysis to generate ongoing reports.
- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing data collection, data systems, and data analytics.
- Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s Degree is an added advantage).
- Certification in HR analytics or data analysis.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst.
- Strong knowledge of data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
- Proficiency in HRIS and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Solid understanding of statistics and experience using statistical software (e.g., Excel).
- Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work with large data sets and generate insightful reports.
