Our client is seeking a competent and organized HR Officer who will also oversee office operations. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day administrative tasks and support HR functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations across the organization.

Role Overview
The HR Officer and Office Operations Manager will be responsible for coordinating all human resources activities and ensuring efficient office management. This includes managing personnel files, recruitment processes, employee relations, and administrative support to maintain a productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Office Management
Supervise daily office operations to ensure smooth workflow
Manage office budgets and handle requisitions and purchases
Keep accurate records of office expenses and inventories
Organize meetings, office events, and other activities
Maintain a well-organized and functional work environment
Take minutes during relevant office meetings
HR Support
Provide first-level HR advice and support to employees and managers
Maintain relationship with the organization’s HMO provider
Support all HR programs and initiatives
Record Maintenance
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
Track attendance, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
Conduct regular audits to ensure complete employee documentation
Prepare monthly attendance and HR reports
Manage offboarding processes and assist with exit interviews
HR Administration
Maintain up-to-date personnel files and HR documentation
Handle onboarding procedures for new hires
Draft HR-related letters and ensure accurate record-keeping
Update and manage the employee database
Recruitment and Onboarding
Post job vacancies on company and external job platforms
Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communication
Conduct background and reference checks
Prepare new employee files and support onboarding activities
Serve as the main point of contact for new hires
Absence Management
Maintain accurate records of employee leave, sickness, and absences
Track and update annual leave schedules
Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR or office administration
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Membership with CIPM is an added advantage
