Job Title: HSE Project Lead

Role Overview
The HSE Project Lead will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health, safety, and environmental strategies across project sites. This position plays a vital role in ensuring operational compliance with local and international standards, driving risk management initiatives, and promoting a culture of safety awareness among all team members.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure full compliance with all HSE regulations, policies, and international standards such as ISO, OSHA, and DPR.

Develop, implement, and maintain safety procedures, employee training programs, and emergency response plans.

Conduct regular inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments on project sites.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective measures.

Monitor safety performance metrics to identify trends and ensure continuous improvement.

Provide expert advice to project teams and management on minimizing risks and improving safety outcomes.

Supervise and coordinate HSE Officers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Lead regular safety audits, compliance checks, and training sessions.
Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.

4–7 years of experience in HSE management within the Oil and Gas or related industry.

In-depth knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other HSE frameworks.

Proven experience leading safety initiatives on large-scale projects.

Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Professional HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or ISPON are a strong advantage.

Ability to work effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
