Job Title: Information Technology Auditor
Location: Mainland, Lagos

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced IT Auditor to assess and strengthen our client’s information systems, technology infrastructure, and internal controls. This role focuses on ensuring data security, operational efficiency, and full compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and carry out IT audit plans based on business needs and compliance requirements
• Evaluate IT systems, internal controls, applications, and cybersecurity protocols
• Perform audits across general IT controls, application controls, databases, and network security
• Identify IT-related risks and suggest practical, effective control measures
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as NDPR, IFRS, ISO 27001, COBIT, and NIST
• Assess disaster recovery plans and business continuity readiness
• Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, risks, and actionable recommendations
• Track the implementation of audit suggestions to ensure timely follow-through
• Present findings to management and stakeholders with clarity and accuracy
• Work closely with IT, risk, compliance, and business units to improve control systems
• Provide guidance on IT control measures for new projects or technologies

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Accounting, or related field
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in IT audit or information security, preferably in financial services
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CIA, CRISC, or ISO 27001 are highly desirable
• Hands-on experience with auditing ERP systems, financial applications, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity standards

Key Skills Required

• Strong understanding of IT audit methodologies and industry standards
• Familiarity with financial systems, core banking tools, and data protection practices
• Ability to analyze complex technical environments and recommend improvements
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• High level of critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail

Salary
₦500,000 – ₦800,000 per month
