Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Maintenance Technician III to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting instrument systems used in production equipment. This role involves ensuring compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational standards while supporting the company’s maintenance and reliability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, inspect, and maintain instrumentation systems in line with safety and operational standards.

  • Test and repair instruments to maintain performance levels and product quality.

  • Plan and supervise instrument-related activities in compliance with company and industry regulations.

  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and project teams to ensure effective control system performance.

  • Evaluate instruments and prepare repair or maintenance plans.

  • Ensure work permits and documentation comply with the Permit to Work System (PTWS).

  • Provide technical support for troubleshooting and maintenance of control systems.

  • Support work prioritization and scheduling to improve efficiency.

  • Conduct inspections on new installations and recommend upgrades when necessary.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of problems identified, repairs made, and solutions implemented.

  • Serve as acting Instrument Lead when required.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, or a related engineering field.

  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience maintaining instruments and control systems in processing or offshore production plants.

  • Strong knowledge of oil and gas facility operations, safety regulations, and quality standards.

  • Hands-on experience with instrumentation tools, systems, and maintenance procedures.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and reporting skills.

  • Attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.

  • Computer proficiency and ability to use technical software for diagnostics and documentation.

  • Safety-oriented mindset with strong teamwork and leadership qualities.
