Role Overview

The Inventory Supervisor will manage and coordinate inventory activities across multiple construction project sites. This position ensures accurate material tracking, proper storage, and timely distribution while supervising on site store officers. The role works closely with Procurement and Finance teams to maintain material availability and compliance with financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise inventory operations across all project sites and maintain accurate stock levels

• Monitor material transfers between sites and central warehouse

• Ensure real time updates of inventory records using management software

• Lead and support store officers in material handling and documentation

• Conduct regular site inspections to enforce inventory standards and resolve issues

• Collaborate with Procurement to forecast and request material needs

• Support Finance in stock valuation and cost reporting

• Coordinate logistics for delivery of materials to project sites

• Ensure safety practices and compliance in handling and storage of materials

• Maintain detailed inventory reports and resolve stock discrepancies

• Train and evaluate inventory officers to improve accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or related field

• 3 to 5 years experience in inventory operations across multiple sites

• Proficiency in inventory management software such as SAP or similar tools

• Strong leadership and supervisory ability

• Excellent planning reporting and problem solving capability

• Effective communication and cross departmental coordination skills

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of construction materials and project based inventory systems

• Understanding of financial tracking in inventory operations

• Background in logistics and transportation planning
