Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Officer (Entry Level) to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining and supporting the company’s computer systems, networks, and IT infrastructure. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical and problem-solving skills who is eager to grow in a dynamic engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues

• Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance, uptime, and security

• Keep accurate records of IT assets, including hardware, software, and peripheral equipment

• Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference

• Provide user support for connectivity, application, and desktop issues via phone, email, or in-person

• Maintain the Helpdesk system by logging and resolving support tickets promptly

• Install, configure, and maintain peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, and external drives

• Collaborate with the Design and Brand team to update website content periodically

• Manage user accounts, including setup, email configuration, and access permissions

• Support maintenance of servers, routers, switches, and other network devices

• Assist in ensuring cybersecurity and data protection compliance across systems

Qualifications and Skills

Education and Experience

• Minimum of B.Sc. or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field

• At least 1 year of relevant experience providing IT support in a Windows and Exchange environment

Core Competencies

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues

• Understanding of malware protection, printing systems, and email configuration

• Familiarity with diagnosing Internet connectivity issues across ISP, switch, server, and desktop levels

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent documentation and problem-solving abilities

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
