Role Overview

The IT Operations Analyst will be responsible for managing daily IT service operations, supporting infrastructure and end-user environments, ensuring system reliability, and maintaining compliance with established IT standards. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and a service-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Service Operations (ITIL-Based):

  • Manage incident and request queues, ensuring accurate prioritization and resolution within SLA

  • Participate in problem management, trend analysis, and root-cause resolution

  • Support change management activities and present updates as needed

  • Maintain operational documentation and standard procedures

Monitoring & Reliability:

  • Track availability, performance, and capacity metrics

  • Conduct regular system health checks and escalate issues as required

End-User & Identity Management:

  • Provide Level 2/3 support for Windows/macOS, printing, and mobile devices

  • Manage identity access provisioning and periodic access reviews

  • Deploy patches and system updates

Infrastructure & Network Support:

  • Assist with Wi-Fi, VPN, and IP telephony operations

  • Handle routine server tasks such as backups, log rotation, and certificate renewals

  • Support remote stations with connectivity and troubleshooting

Security & Compliance:

  • Apply security hardening practices and remediate identified vulnerabilities

Stakeholder & Knowledge Management:

  • Provide clear technical communication to users and teams

  • Update knowledge base and conduct user training when necessary

  • Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

  • HND/BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in IT operations within a structured environment

  • Certifications such as ITIL V4 Foundation, CompTIA Network+/A+, Microsoft MD-102/AZ-104, or Cisco CCNA

Competencies:

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management tools

  • Experience with Windows/macOS environments and mobile device management

  • Basic understanding of Layer-3 networking and voice communications

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
