Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled IT Specialist / Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in Enugu. This role is ideal for someone who has strong technical knowledge and also enjoys working with people. The position blends IT support with patient care coordination, offering a dynamic opportunity to contribute to both technology and healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide IT support for office operations by resolving hardware, software, and network issues
• Manage and maintain electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring accurate data entry and retrieval
• Train and guide staff on the use of computer systems, applications, and patient management tools
• Coordinate patient care activities such as scheduling, communication, and follow-up
• Handle patient data securely in line with data protection standards
• Support the integration of technology into administrative and clinical processes
• Assist with creating reports, dashboards, and digital tracking tools

Requirements

• Diploma or Higher National Diploma (ND / HND or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Information Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an IT Specialist, IT Support Officer, or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, health information systems, and basic networking
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics, or a related discipline
• Prior experience in healthcare administration or patient care coordination
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
