Job Title: Logistics Associate (NYSC)
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time (NYSC Placement)
Role Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Logistics Associate currently serving in the NYSC program. In this role, you will help coordinate and improve logistics operations, manage rider recruitment, and ensure timely delivery of services. You’ll also support training, performance monitoring, and documentation as part of the broader operations team.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Operations
- Coordinate daily logistics to ensure on-time, accurate delivery of customer orders
- Work with third-party logistics partners to optimize delivery processes
- Track and improve delivery performance by addressing challenges
Rider Recruitment & Management
- Support recruitment strategies to hire and onboard delivery riders
- Collaborate with the HR team on interviews and onboarding
- Build and maintain a pool of qualified riders to meet service demand
Training and Performance
- Organize training programs to improve rider efficiency and service quality
- Monitor rider performance and address any concerns proactively
Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain updated records of riders and logistics operations
- Generate reports on delivery activities, rider performance, and recruitment efforts
Who We’re Looking For
- Minimum 6 months of experience or interest in logistics, supply chain, or operations
- NYSC member who has completed higher education (University, Polytechnic, or equivalent)
- Comfortable using spreadsheets, CRM systems, and project management tools
- Familiar with logistics operations in sectors like FMCG, food, transport, or e-commerce
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage tasks independently and solve problems quickly
- Results-driven with a strong sense of urgency and accountability
