Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and committed Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining factory machines to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe production processes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to perform routine checks to keep production running without interruption.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate production machinery efficiently and safely according to standard operating procedures.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Diagnose and fix minor mechanical issues promptly to maintain consistent production flow.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, replacements, and inspections.
  • Monitor machine performance, material usage, and wastage, and report findings to supervisors.
  • Support production planning to meet daily and weekly productivity targets.
  • Maintain compliance with all factory safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the work area at all times.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in machine operation and maintenance.
  • Good understanding of production equipment and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot minor faults.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Punctual, disciplined, and willing to work in a fast-paced production environment.
