Job Title: Mechanical Technician
Location: Sagamu, Ogun State

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Technician to join our production team in Sagamu. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving mechanical systems and equipment used in plastic bottle manufacturing. The role requires hands-on experience in mold changing, mechanical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of mechanical systems and production lines
• Diagnose and fix mechanical issues on blow molding and injection molding machines
• Install, remove, and adjust molds according to production needs to minimize downtime
• Assist the production team during equipment setup and changeovers
• Keep detailed maintenance logs, service reports, and spare parts records
• Ensure all maintenance work adheres to company safety policies and procedures
• Work closely with the electrical and production teams to improve machine performance and reliability

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• At least three (3) years of relevant experience in plastic bottle manufacturing
• Solid understanding of blow molding and injection molding processes
• Proven ability to perform mold changes and diagnose mechanical faults
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
• Must be available to work in Sagamu and open to shift-based work schedules
