Job Description

The Medical Officer will play a key role in delivering expert medical care, overseeing healthcare staff, and ensuring the highest standards of patient treatment. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical experience, leadership ability, and a passion for improving healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical conditions
• Supervise and support a team of healthcare professionals including junior doctors and nurses
• Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols for patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery
• Offer training and mentorship to junior medical staff
• Take part in on-call duties and provide medical coverage when required

Requirements

• MBBS Degree or equivalent qualification in Medicine and Surgery
• Minimum of 5 years working experience as a medical doctor, including at least 1 year in a senior role
• Valid medical license to practice in Nigeria
• Strong leadership and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and hospital systems

Salary

N400,000 – N500,000 monthly
